Lisa Garcia contacted me for a very special reason. She was being awarded a prestigious award for the state of NH as a dietician and nutrition specialist, and before it rolled along she wanted a refresh of her website with updated photos. She confessed that she has never liked having her photo taken... that it didn't come naturally to her and she had few photos of herself that she loved! She said she had spent considerable time looking for the right photographer, and when she found my Branding page, she knew that I was the right person.
I am so thrilled she chose to hire me! She had a website company helping her with the refresh, and they had specific requirements for the images they were looking for. We spent time communicating her needs, what the images would look like, and going over the mood board they had made for us. The morning o four shoot, we spent time further discussing her desires, choosing outfits, and selecting locations. We actually had so much fun! We spent a lot of time laughing and eager to make some exceptional shots for her.
During the time I got to know Lisa a bit. The thing that struck me most is how she passionate she is to help her clients. She was clearly very knowledgeable and informed, and had about 1,00 cookbooks to back that up! But she often mentioned her own journey on the path to better nutrition, and how that helped her to connect with her clients- because she "has been there and eaten that". She was careful to even make sure that the images reflected only typical ingredients that some of her clients with specific conditions could use. She showed she is a very kind and knowledgeable nutrionist!

I almost don't even have words for how adorable these boys are! And they are ALL boy. As they came barreling down the rocky path, their dad Spencer turns to me and says, "I told them if they start bleeding, we're still doing the session!". But then less than a minute later, all three boys jump in front of my camera, put their arms around each other and smile!
While in between they were running and jumping, any time I asked them to sit for a picture they were more than willing. you could tell how much love they have for each other, they were so happy to snuggle, to take pictures with each other and to make funny faces with mom and dad. I absolutely love being able to capture these photos of them! I love seeing the children I photograph every year as they grow older!

What a wonderful treat it was to get an email for this! Their sons and daughter-in-laws put together a surprise 50th wedding anniversary for Deb and Norm, and know how much Deb loves my photos, they asked me to come photograph it! It is such a pleasure to have clients who come back to me time and time again, it's my favorite part of this job and it's even better when it's a special occasion or there are new little family members!
Deb and Norm were completely surprised by the event, and got to spend the afternoon with a lot fo friends and family! Despite the wind blowing our hair, we had beautiful light and warm temp for this time of year.
I hope you enjoyed your party, and once again happy 50th anniversary!!

Abby has been coming up to the area on weekends for years... and just around the corner from me, she has found a true passion in horseback riding. She has spent her weekends riding and leading tours at the Rocky River Ranch in Campton, NH, and because of that she thought it would be the most meaningful to get her portraits done there.
We had some gorgeous weather and were able to not only take our time walking the beautiful trails along the river behind the ranch, but were able to get some shots with her horse, as well. Enjoy!
When you're a photographer, and you open an email from a previous client asking for you to take their photos again, your hearts soars a little bit. Knowing that my clients were not only happy with their images but loved them so much they wanted to come back again, is a really special feeling. I feel really honored that most of my clients have become repeat clients, even if it's not every year.
The best part about this is seeing how much the kids have grown, or even better- there's a whole new member of the family! So when Liz contacted me again, I was thrilled. They have been coming to vacation here on Winnipesaukee, and what a treat that they would want me to be part of their vacation plans. Not only was it so great to see their adorable little boys again, but I got to meet the newest littlest boy, Wesley!
The boys got to enjoy the lake and swimming all week, and they were so much fun to photograph. I love capturing their little smiles and expressions. Enjoy!
Well this was a fun one! I got a chance to photograph Jana and her family, along with their extended family last summer. This year when they were going to be back in town they got in touch again. Nothing makes me happier than when clients like me and love what I do and want to hire me again!
Well with five little, you know it's going to be an active and fun session. I'm sure as you scroll through these you can almost live the session along with us- the beautiful moments, the silly moments, the fun moments. The two littlest are twins, as well, and they were cracking me up! Apparently they are each other's best little buddies and run around tackling each other and making each other laugh all the time.
Not to mention all of them are so adorable!
I was so thrilled to receive an email from Anne letting me know they'd be back in the area, and loved their photos so much from last year that they wanted me to come back! So many of my clients have hired me again and again, nothing could be a better compliment. So thank you. I love watching your families grow and spend time together!
Philip and his two sons, David and Jeff, along with his wife Braden and their two girls all got to spend a lovely, relaxing week on Squam Lake. I met them last year on a similar visit to this gorgeous lakes region in New Hampshire. Just like last year, Anna and Phoebe and I all had a great time doing some fun shots like on the big rocks and in the boats!
Enjoy, Bergan family!!
Charlene reached out to me for a surprise gift. Her fiance Greg's family cabin, that had been in their family for several generations, was going to be sold. She wanted someone, the right person, to come out and document all the things they loved at the camp. So that they would have memories of being there, all the little details, to remember forever and show the boys when they grew up.
Well... having had a family cabin on a lake myself when I was growing up, this was the perfect connection. I admit, while I was photographing the details, I was feeling quite nostalgic.
We made images of them hanging out, swimming, kayaking, on the boat, chalking on the deck and a lot of the beautiful, memorable details of their cabin.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
I really love getting to capture memories for families all traveling together. I have two sisters, and we have 8 kids between us, so I know how special it can be to get images of everyone together.
Janice contacted me for just that reason- getting photos of everyone together is so very important. And not just to enjoy them right now. But 20 or even 40 years from now, your kids and grandkids will be looking at these same images. They'll be pointing out each person and telling stories. Laughing at how different everyone looked.
Despite the heat of the week, we were lucky to get an overcast sky that day. We took the time not only to get the standard smiling poses, but to make sure each family has a handful of fun, candid ones where you can really see the love. Enjoy!
I can't think of a better reason to get professional photos taken than the entire extended family coming together for the matriarch and patriarch's 50th wedding anniversary. Kevin and Paula (aka Papa and Granny) come from Centerville, MA; but their grown children are spread from CT to CA. So I was really touched when Jennifer got in touch with me to make these images for them!
With Mother Nature threatening our session, we made it happen and beat the rain this day. It ended up actually being great since it was a bit cooler in the heat.
And little Vera was just the most easy-going little munchkin to photograph!

Meet the Blackwelders! Their family dental practice in Winnisquam, NH is a small treasure. I've had the pleasure of photographing their family, some of their employee's families and now their thriving business! Personally, I think the best part of their practice is how at-ease their amazing staff puts you. Walk in, and you're immediately welcomed and every question you could have is answered with a friendly smile.
They recently invested in becoming a solar-powered dental practice! Notice the paneling on both the roof of their beautiful New Hampshire office, as well as a big rotating panel in the yard.
I was so happy to be able to make some images for this group- we had a a lot of fun getting some goofy images, too!

It was the perfect time of year to use this location. We drove out to this property on a beautifully warm fall evening and ended up with absolutely gorgeous light.
Lauren is currently a senior at Plymouth Regional High School. She's an avid athlete, playing field hockey, lacrosse and nordic skiing. Even though school sports keep her schedule full, she recently completed hiking all the 4,000 footers in NH! Her mom describes her as "kind, shy, smart, and athletic." I hope we captured a little bit of all that in these images!
Thank you for letting me freeze this special time in your life for you! Lauren I wish you best of luck heading off to college!

This family session is pretty close to perfection! Again, my heart swells with happiness when I get to photograph families year after year. Alyssa, Ben and they two gorgeous little girls joined me in Bethlehem, NH for an evening with beautiful light. Harper and little Georgia kept me chasing them, but I don't mind!! Photographing kids is my favorite thing to do... and if running around after them means I get great images of them playing, giggling, laughing and showing off their little personalities- then I'm happy!
Alyssa and fam, thank you again for letting me make these images for you. I hope you and your girls treasure them for decades to come!

Ok, so admittedly, one of my favorite families that I get to photograph every year... because I have known them since before they had their youngest daughter, because they allowed me to take their family pictures even before I was really getting started, because they've hired me every year since. Abby, Matt, Sam and Maddie come to my sessions ready to have a fun time. Every year I get to see the girls grow a little more. Every year I get to smile as I take their pictures, because they are just such a close family and love to have fun together.
I could go on and on... but well, I'll just leave it that I hope I get to keep taking their family pictures for a long time to come!
(p.s. ending this post with a "Matt's favorite" photo!)

I met Paddy before I met Crystal and Matt. This little pumpkin was plunked down in front of me for his school portrait and I was immediately smitten. When his mom sent me an email later that day about a family session, I was thrilled! We met up for some family portraits at the Rocks Estate and had a great time loving on this little guy.
We met at their family cabin on Little Squam where they like to enjoy the lake during the summer... after having to postpone due to rain, we ended up with a gorgeously warm evening for their session! Louisa and Harper were absolutely adorable, and we had a fun time being silly and snuggly. We even got Brighton and Hadley their dogs in! they were the best behaved dogs I think I've ever had at a session!
I think my favorite part of the whole evening was just at the end... we got some beautiful, soft lighting as the sun disappeared, and I let the kids grab their snugglies for a few shots. I think making sure to incorporate them into some images really captures this time in their life. Kids will outgrow them someday, but as parents we know what an important part of their life they are right now!
The Kirkpatricks reached out to me for some family photos while their son Tyler is a fun, active little guy! We met up on an unseasonably warm day in Waterville and were able to enjoy the nice weather as well as some foliage. Tyler enjoyed snuggling, throwing leaves, running and even wading into the water at the end! I hope that some of his fun-loving joy comes through in these images!

New Hampshire is such a gorgeous place to live... it's no wonder that people come from all over to vacation here, or even buy a family summer place here. That's exactly what this family did, especially now that their grown children are now parents themselves and spread out not only across the country, but Paris as well. Karin got in touch with me as the organizer for some family photos while they all congregated to enjoy this new home.
Needless to say, with four little ones, things can get pretty silly! And that's perfectly fine in my book, chasing little kids, tickles, silly faces and songs are right up my alley. And, as I always like reassure parents, don't worry! I will get the posed smiling ones. But I love capturing the fun, too. You'll see that as you scroll through these because I included a whole lot of candids. My favorite part of the whole thing was when all the kids went to hug Grandpa, and ended up tackling him!! He was such a good sport- I'm not sure is he or the kids, or all of us watching were laughing the hardest!

The St. Onge family has spent many vacations on beautiful Newfound Lake. Their last family photos, however, were several years ago... and considering all three daughters are grown and there are a few new additions, they asked if I would come help them make new images and memories. I, myself, am one of three sisters so it felt very close-to-home for me!
We also even recreated their last family photo, taken at this same lake!

Lance is a man with a dream! With so much hard work, he is busy building himself a real life mountain-top castle. He invited me to come see the project so that they could get some family photos done at their beautiful sky high property with views of Welch-Dickey trailhead. We certainly got some fun-filled images!
Another gorgeous evening for fairies in the garden! This year my three beautiful nieces got to join my girls, and we bumped into friends, too! Everything about this even tis just so wonderfully done, we certainly make an evening of it!
Stuart contacted me to give a session to his wife as a birthday gift- what a wonderful, memorable gift! I had met the boys while doing their preschool portraits last year, and they were such adorable little hams in front of the camera. We got together at this beautiful little spot on the Pemi river... the weather and light were great on a summer night. Plus it's always fun for kids t add in some sand and rock throwing during a session! Their daughter especially had such a contagious smile!

Ah, one of my new favorite sessions! The Schwab family, originally from NH but who now reside in MA, decided to have me capture some wonderful summer vacation memories for them! The evening was just beautiful, but hands-down the best part was their two adorable sons being in fantastic moods! We had a blast walking the docks, checking out police boats and spider webs, and they definitely deserved the ice cream at the end!
Lifestyle sessions are a great option for families. Basically instead of just hanging put in one spot like a field, we choose an activity or two to go do... something meaningful to your family. Whether it's your favorite vacation spot, playing catch in a ball field, bringing the kayaks to the lake, or going apple-picking, I really ADORE lifestyle sessions. It keeps little kids moving and happy, and it gives older kids and teens something they enjoy to focus on besides smiling for a camera.
Want a lifestyle session of your own? Shoot me a quick email right now.
Enjoy!
The Gagnon family met on a beautiful evening- the grass was growing and the sun setting. Amber and Mike were so great, they just went with the flow and we had a nice time. They also brought some awesome props like the wood wagon and giant orange G for their family!
My friend Shannon told me that they had never had professional photos taken, except at their wedding. They were a little worried that the kids (and them!) would be goofy, but I assured her it's all good, that during my sessions we have a lot of fun and I'll just do my thing. No worries, I know how to get the shots I want! Well, the evening was exactly that– lots of fun and giggles. It is so clear how much Tom and Shannon adore their kids and their kids love them in return. Enjoy the cuteness!
"Before our family shoot we had a screaming child, a reluctant child and two tentative parents. Needless to say as soon as Diana got a hold of us everything changed! We had a blast! The kids couldn't get enough of her, and my husband and I felt so at ease. Diana's energy and enthusiasm were contagious....and the pictures....wow! Such a great eye for capturing the perfect light and moment! We will definitely be back for more Diana Daigle Photography!"

Well what can I say. My friend JJ has been a big supporter of my photographer for a while now. And she and her ADORABLE son Patrick were so willing to jump in for this last minute. The weather in NH had finally warmed up and I knew the light was going to be amazing this night. They are totally the type to just go with the flow and have fun doing it!
Best of all, it was right before Mother's Day, and I can't think of a better gift than memories that you and your child will have for lifetimes!
My family sessions now all take place in the evening, the light is golden and gorgeous. Want some images of your family that take your breath away? I can't think of a better way thing to invest in! Click on my Contact page to get in touch!

I got to visit with my good friend Michelle to meet her long-awaited little arrival. We did a casual lifestyle session in her home, which is not only comfortable for clients but I find the images are so authentic and really capture that early time. Michelle and Wiley kept the gender a surprise, and were thrilled to have a little boy! Here he is in all of his tiny, wrinkly cuteness.
I've had the privilege of making some images for Erin before, of the beautiful landscaping done by her company Simple By Nature, but this is the first time we've gotten to just go do some personal ones for her. Ethan was apparently so excited he spent the day telling all his friends at school that he was leaving to go get photos! He was eager to play along with my little 'games' which brought out some great smiles from them both.

When someone I know well asks me to take the family portraits, I take it as a huge compliment and feel so honored. We met up and found some gorgeous foliage still left. Honestly, though they usually have me running around and doing silly things, I adore photographing little kids the best- they just let their personalities shine through! I know one of their favorite images was the "little runaway" one!
